How To Draw A Book Doodle – Step By Step Tutorial For Beginners

Are you someone who is always struggling to draw book doodles in your Bullet Journal ? Today I will share a Step by Step guide on how to draw book doodles for your Bullet journal .
Earlier when I was at school , I use to doodle all over my notebooks . When I grew up, I started making doodles as decoration in my Bullet Journal . The most used doodles were Books .
Book doodles are so useful for school or college notebook decorations but anyone can use them to track their reading list in Bullet Journal .Regardless of how you use these doodles, they are always so fun to make . I sorted out 5 different angles and ways you can draw Books in your Bullet journal .
Drawing Supplies
Supplies you might need :
A white paper, drawing paper or your Bullet journal.
Mechanical pencil (0.5mm) or any pencil .
A waterproof black gel pen .
Find below easy steps on how to draw book doodles from different angles .
How to Draw a standing book without support ?
Step -1
Draw a rectangle with 2 slightly tilt horizontal lines and 2 straight vertical lines . Add distorted letter C on left side corners as shown above.
Step -2
Join the Letter C with vertical line and extend another horizontal line .
Step -3
Add decorating elements like showing binding .
Step -4
Add more horizontal lines parallel to each other as pages . Add different decorating elements to give a look of Book.
How to Draw a Book cover ?
Step -1
Draw Slightly tilted rectangle and add curves at three corners of the rectangle .
Step -2
Join all three curves with help of vertical and horizontal lines as shown above.
Step -3
Add multiple parallel lines at lower curve to show that book is lying and have pages in it .
Step -4
Add a binding line and elements for decoration as per your choice.
How to Draw Open Book?
Step -1
Draw 3 parallel vertical line. Join them using 4 big Letter C .
Step -2
Draw more curved lines similar to Letter C to give look of multiple pages .
Step -3
Draw vertical pages on either sides of the main page to give look of multiple pages.
Step -4
Add small element of decoration . Here I have added a bookmark !
How to Draw Book standing up?
Step -1
Draw 4 vertical irregular parallel lines .
Step -2
Join the top of the book with Letter C like curve.
Step -3
Join the same below but with less curve as Top.
Step -4
Add Decorative elements like small vertical and horizontal lines to show binding .
How to Draw stacked up Books?
Step -1
Draw lines at an angle more than 180 degree.
Step -2
Draw more lines starting from one end of the previous drawn lines at an angle more than 180 degree . These lines should be drawn such that they form corners .
Step -3
Join all ends of the line with Curved letter C .
Step -4
Complete a proper rectangle at top and add more parallel lines at the end to show multiple pages .
